John C. Boyden, Esq.
John C. Boyden, the owner of Disability Action Advocates was born on April
25, 1965, in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Whitman Collage with
a B.A. in History in 1987. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola
Law School in 1990 when he was a member of the Scott Moot Court Honors
Board. He was a law clerk for the Honorable Jerry Carr Whitehead, District
Judge, Washoe County, Nevada, from 1990-1991.
Mr. Boyden was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 1990 and to practice in the
U.S. District Court, District of Nevada in 1991. He is a member of the
Washoe Country and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Nevada,
the Nevada Association of Defense Counsel, and the National Organization
of Social Security Claimant's Representative (NOSSCR), as well as
the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR). Mr. Boyden
is also an admitted Washoe County arbitrator, and he is a partner at the
law firm of Erickson, Thorpe & Swainston, Ltd.
Mr. Boyden has received an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell
Law Directory, and has tried to verdict 15 jury trials, and approximately
50 arbitrations and bench trials.
